Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 18 June 2025
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Sentinel Codes Inc., a company incorporated in Panama ("Sentinel," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you access https://sentinel.codes, any sub-domain, or any related interface or application we operate (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
Key Principles
Minimal data collection — we only gather what is necessary to operate a non‑custodial DeFi interface.
No sale of personal data — we do not rent, trade, or sell user data.
User control — you remain in control of your self‑hosted wallet and on‑chain transactions.
1. Information We Collect
We strive to limit collection to the least amount of data required to operate the Service.
1.1 Public Blockchain Data
When you connect a blockchain wallet, we receive and may display your public wallet address, on‑chain transaction history, and balances that are publicly available on the blockchain. This information is inherently public and cannot be deleted or modified by us.
1.2 Technical and Usage Information
When you visit or interact with the Service, we (or third‑party analytics providers acting on our behalf) may automatically collect:
Device & Browser Data: IP address, user‑agent string, device type, operating system, and browser version.
Log Data: Timestamped logs of pages viewed and actions taken (e.g., vault deposit/withdrawal events).
Diagnostic & Performance Data: Error reports, loading times, and resource usage to improve stability.
1.3 Optional Information You Provide
You may voluntarily supply additional information, such as:
Contact details you provide if you email us or subscribe to updates;
Content of messages or support requests you send to us.
We do not request personal identifiers such as your full name, government ID, postal address, or phone number.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
Monitor, secure, and improve the performance of our interfaces;
Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
Comply with legal and regulatory obligations, including sanctions screening;
Respond to your inquiries and provide user support;
Communicate important updates or changes to the Service.
3. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA & UK Users)
Where the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are:
Contractual necessity: Processing wallet and log data to provide the Service.
Legitimate interests: Ensuring network security, preventing fraud, and improving the Service.
Legal obligation: Compliance with applicable laws, sanctions rules, and regulatory requests.
Consent: For optional marketing communications or non‑essential cookies (where applicable).
4. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell or rent your information. We may share limited data only:
Service Providers: With cloud‑hosting, analytics, or security vendors that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
Legal & Regulatory: When required to comply with applicable law, court orders, or lawful requests by public authorities.
Business Transfers: If Sentinel undergoes a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
The Service currently uses only essential cookies necessary for basic site functionality. We do not use non‑essential or marketing cookies at this time. If we later integrate analytics cookies, we will update this Policy and, where required, seek your consent.
6. Data Retention
We retain wallet addresses, log data, and other technical records only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy or to comply with legal obligations. When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymize it.
7. International Transfers
We may process data on servers located outside your jurisdiction (including in the British Virgin Islands and other countries). Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect transferred data.
8. Security Measures
We employ industry‑standard security and encryption measures to protect data transmitted to and stored by us, including HTTPS, least‑privilege access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no online system is entirely secure; you are responsible for safeguarding your wallet credentials.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access to and a copy of data we hold about you;
Request correction or deletion of your data where applicable;
Object to or restrict the processing of your data;
Data portability (where technically feasible);
Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise these rights, please contact us at info@sentinel.codes.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under eighteen (18) years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it promptly.
